This week, both junior and intermediate class were held together as Sivakumar is unable to come.
Tamil Junior:
We Practiced writing the vowel letters and then worked on vowel sound words from lesson 1.
Kids did very well in writing. They are improving well. please practice talking to them in tamil at home too. Ask them to reply to you in tamil atleast for few sentences. This encouragement will help them .
Homework:
Practice the words from lesson -1. Kids should be able to say the word when looking at the picture or given the english word.
Tamil Intermediate:
We practiced the past secondary sound letters and started on the next two sound. Kids brought home the test paper and homework for the week is specified on the test paper. Please do sign the paper. Also have the kids finish the homework. Kids also went home with a booklet and wordlist sheet. Read with the children so that they get familiarized with the words.
They should bring them back to class so that we will practice in class too.
We will continue this process for the next few weeks. Test, lesson , reading wordlist.
